High-Efficiency Mid-Bass Driver for Professional Sound Reinforcement
The FS12.25A8 is a high-efficiency 12" ceramic woofer engineered for professional sound reinforcement systems requiring extended low-frequency output, controlled mid-bass response, and consistent production performance. Designed by B&C Group and manufactured to Eminence Pro™ standards, this driver is optimized for OEM loudspeaker platforms in portable PA, stage monitor, and fixed installation applications.
Rated at 250 W AES / 500 W program, the FS12.25A8 is designed for sustained operation in high-output environments. With a 98 dB sensitivity, it supports efficient system designs delivering strong acoustic output with reduced amplifier demand. The driver operates across a 50 Hz – 4 kHz frequency range, providing extended low-frequency capability while maintaining clarity in critical vocal and instrument bands.
The motor structure incorporates a 64 mm (2.5") ISV™ interleaved sandwich voice coil, delivering improved thermal handling, reduced power compression, and mechanical stability under continuous load. A curvilinear, water-repellent treated paper cone ensures controlled response, durability, and environmental resistance across a wide range of operating conditions.
Optimized for enclosure volumes of 25 – 60 liters, the FS12.25A8 integrates easily into compact and medium-format enclosure designs, offering stable Thiele-Small parameters and predictable performance for scalable OEM production.
